on the corresponding game icon on our Web site homepage. The rules,
prize payouts, and drawing times will be listed. You can also find
information at all the Points of Sale (Lotto Offices) of MALTCO
LOTTERIES Limited. Alternatively you may call our Help Line Centre
on 2388 3333. Our Help Line is available to sellers, players, and
the general public from Monday to Saturday between 08:00hrs - 23:00hrs.
What is the legal age to play, purchase, and redeem MALTCO
Lottery
tickets?
According to the law, you must be 16 years or older to purchase
or redeem tickets. All our Points of Sale are instructed to refuse
selling tickets to under-age people as well as redeem winning tickets
originating from such people.

You can find prize payout information on each of the MALTCO Lottery
games by clicking on the appropriate game icon located on the Web
site's homepage. Alternatively you may call our Help Line Centre

What is the “Players’ Brochure”? Where
can I collect one?
The Players’ Brochure is a document issued by Maltco Lotteries
Limited which provides information about the main lotteries organized
by the company. The brochure may be obtained from any Maltco Point
of Sale or from the company’s head office.
Do I have to pay taxes on the winnings originating from
MALTCO Lottery
games?
No. Winnings are completely tax-free.
May I use the lottery ticket in the VAT lottery?
No. Maltco lottery tickets are not valid for the VAT lottery.

LOST, DAMAGED, INCORRECT TICKETS:
What happens if I accidentally lose a winning ticket?
MALTCO LOTTERIES Limited is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets.
Losing a lottery ticket is like losing cash. Anyone who presents
a winning ticket can claim the prize. It is important to note that
the lottery ticket, which is the only valid proof-of-purchase, is
the thermal receipt which the vendor issues after payment is received.
What happens if I realise that the POS has made a mistake
in my
ticket?
It is your responsibility to ensure that the numbers printed on
the ticket are correct before leaving the Point Of Sale. Ticket
cancellation may take place within 10 minutes from the time when
the ticket was issued, provided that the cancellation takes place
before the game period elapses. You have a right to a refund of
your stake.
I have accidentally damaged a winning ticket. Can I still
claim the
prize?
Winning tickets are still valid if the information required for
validation is still visible. Please refer to the FAQs of the lottery
you are interested in for more information.
LOTTERY DRAWS:
How secure are the drawing of the games?
There are stringent security measures in place to ensure the integrity
and randomness of the drawings. Each lottery machine and ball set
used goes through a series of pre- and post-drawings tests to certify
the integrity of the process. Members of the public are welcome
to observe the drawings.
When are the drawings broadcast?
The lottery drawings are broadcasted in the presence of representatives
of the Gaming Authority as well as the general public. Super 5 draws
are broadcast on Wednesday at 19:10 while Lotto is broadcast on
Saturday at 19:10
If I miss the drawing on TV where can I get the winning
numbers?
Besides watching the draw on TV, there are other ways how you can
find out if you are a winner.
This information is available through our network of sellers, through
our website, as well as from your local newspaper the day after
the draw.
CLAIMING YOUR WINNINGS:
Is my confidentiality safeguarded when I claim a prize?
Personal data of winners is only collected in the case of large
prizes. In these cases such information is recorded, but kept strictly
confidential. Winners who do not wish to appear in person to receive
their prize may appoint a lawyer or representative with signed authorisation
to claim the prize on their behalf.
How do I claim my prize?
Prizes may be claimed from Maltco Points of Sale or from Maltco’s
head office, depending on the value of the winnings. Please refer
to the FAQs of the lottery you are interested in for more information.
