The Elitloppet weekend will take place this weekend, on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st of May at the Solvalla race track in Sweden. As any horse racing enthusiast can attest, this event is a very important annual horse racing event which attracts the best trotting horses in the world. It is in fact so prestigious that it is part of the European Grand Circuit. The winner of Elitloppet is decided through two qualifying rounds and a subsequent final. Both the eliminations and the final are raced over the mile. It is being anticipated that a total of €31,000,000 will be won by punters over the coming weekend.
