What is probably Malta’s biggest ever Bingo Snowball was won on 30th March, when a Bingo75 player marked all 24 numbers within the first fifty numbers drawn to win the Snowball category amounting to €84,678.20. It must have been an amazing experience for the player given that the last four numbers needed to win the Snowball were among the last five numbers drawn which were eligible for the snowball category, Indeed, the 24th number needed to complete the grid was drawn as the 50th number. The €3 ticket was bought from a Valletta outlet and the winning grid was no. 492. Mr Mario Cassar MALTCO’s General Director said: “We are happy that the Snowball was won in just four months from the launch of Bingo75 and believe that this will continue to increase the popularity of the game”. The minimum guaranteed Snowball amounts to not less than €50,000 and a player has three category chances of winning: Corners, Snowball and House. One can win more than one category with the same ticket. If no winners are declared in either the Corners or House categories, then the funds for those categories are rolled over to the Snowball category of the next draw.
