Betting Events are possible outcomes of events which are
wholly or partially available for betting.
What is a Column?
A column includes the total number of betting events chosen by a
player, which must all be predicted correctly for the column to
be a winner. A ticket may include more than one column.
What is Correct Score?
Correct Score is offered for

and Involves predicting the actual number of goals
that will be scored by each team in a particular match. This type
of prediction may only be made if the valid programme for a particular

A Coupon is a pre-printed form on which a player indicates his preferences.

What is a Goal Advantage?
A Goal Advantage is the number of goals given in favour of one of
the teams in a match, which are added to the final result in order
to determine the outcome of the match.
What does the term Licencee mean?

What is a Multiplier?

Points of Sale are the outlets authorised

What is a Programme?
A Programme contains information covering a specific time period,
which includes betting events, their odds, and other useful information
for the player. The latest programme may be collected from any MALTCO
LOTTERIES Limited Point of Sale, viewed at the company’s
website or through the local media.
What is the Stake?
The amount of money a player bets on a particular outcome or outcomes
is called a stake.
What is a Banker?
When choosing Systems the player may ask the terminal to treat specific
events as Bankers and include these events in every column
created. A Banker would be an event which the player is
confident about predicting.
What are Systems?
Systems is a method for developing multiple columns from the events
selected by the player. While using Systems will increase the stake,
it will also significantly increase the chances of winning.
What is a Ticket?
A ticket is a computerised participation receipt issued by the on-line
terminal indicating the selections made by the player. The ticket
is the unique valid document required to claim winnings.
