MALTCO LOTTERIES Limited, in conjunction with ATG, are offering the opportunity to a player plus his / her guest, to spend three days in Stockholm, Sweden, to attend the prestigious horse racing event of ELITLOPPET.

ELITLOPPET is a yearly event which has been taking place in the Solvalla hippodrome in Stockholm, Sweden since 1952. Every year the event attracts an impressive line-up of the best harness racing horses in the world. What is even more impressive is the total prize funds of millions of Euro which are available on all the bets offered over the weekend.

In order to participate all you need to do is send €25 worth of U*BET Horse Racing tickets, stapled and in an envelope, to our offices to the following address: Elitloppet Competition, PO Box 70, G.P.O., Marsa.

On the back of the tickets you need to include the following information:

Your Name and Surname
Your I.D. Card Number
Your Telephone or Mobile Number

You also need to write the answer to the following question on the back of the tickets together with the other information requested: Which Horse Won Last Year’s Edition of Elitloppet?

Tickets received need to have been purchased or related to races held between 22nd April 2009 and 18th May 2009. Tickets are to be received at the PO Box by not later than noon on Thursday 21st May 2009. The draw will be held in a location to be announced by MALTCO LOTTERIES, on Friday 22nd of May at 14:00.

To Participate in the Competition for the ELITLOPPET HORSE RACING EVENT, you must:

a.	Buy U*BET Horse Racing Tickets. Any NON-WINNING tickets may participate in this lottery.
b.	Fill in your name, I.D. Card No. and Phone or mobile number on the back of each of the tickets.
c.	Staple and send €25 worth of NON-WINNING U*BET Horse Racing Tickets to: Elitloppet Competition, PO Box 70, G.P.O., Marsa.
d.	Write down the answer to the following question: “Which Horse won the 2008 edition of Elitloppet?”
e.	Tickets participating need to have been purchased or related to races held between 22nd April 2009 and 18th May 2009. Tickets are to be received at the PO Box by not later than noon on Thursday 22nd May 2009.

The Prize in this Competition is a trip for two people to attend the Elitloppet Horse Racing Event in Stockholm, Sweden. It consists of:

Flights for two people including taxes, fuel surcharge and service fees, to Stockholm, Sweden. The flights will not necessarily be direct flights.
Three nights accommodation in Stockholm for two people in a double room on a B&B basis as provided for by ATG.
Entrance on Saturday 30th May 09 and Sunday 31st May 09 to the Solvalla Race Track for the Elitloppet event including lunch on both days.

The draw of the Competition shall be held in a location to be announced by Maltco, on Friday 22nd of May at 14:00. The ticket drawn will be checked to confirm that it abides by the said rules. In the event that the ticket drawn does not abide by all the stipulated rules, then another ticket is drawn until a valid winner can be confirmed. The winner will be contacted by phone and the name of the winner will be announced in the media.

Maltco Authorised Agents, their assistants/employees, and all individuals living in the same households of Authorised Agents and/or any assistants/employees of Agents; as well as Maltco employees and all individuals living in their same household, are NOT eligible to participate in this competition.

The Competition is only open to players of sixteen years of age and over.

A valid I.D. Card must be presented to be eligible to claim the prize.

The Prize voucher must be claimed from MALTCO LOTTERIES Limited offices within a maximum of 3 working days from the day the winning name is drawn. In default, the winner shall irremediably lose all and any right to claim any prize. Prizes can be claimed during office hours, between Monday and Friday, except for Public holidays.

Any further expenses, resulting directly or indirectly from this competition, as well as expenses which arise and are not listed in the above prizes have to be borne by the winner. Maltco cannot in any way be held liable or responsible for any expenses which result directly or indirectly from this competition. Therefore, for example, in the event of a requested hotel upgrade, or application of travel insurance, the expense is to be borne solely by the winner and his or her guest. Furthermore winner and his/her guest must satisfy themselves that they are fit to travel to take up the prize. If in doubt, medical advice must be taken and acted upon by prize winner and his/her guest.

All prizes must be accepted as awarded. No substitution, cash redemption or transfer of the prize will be permitted.

By sending their non-winning tickets with the information required as stipulated above, the Participants give their explicit consent to the MALTCO and/or ATG to process their personal details in accordance with the Data Protection Act (Cap. 440 of the Laws of Malta), and consent to the use of this personal information for publicity use, without any further compensation, as well as to allow MALTCO to send future promotional messages about its various products through SMS and other means of communication.

11.

The winner will be required to participate in any planned publicity in connection with this competition and by entering the promotion, the prize winner consents to the use of his/her name, likeness, image, photograph for any and all programming and/or publicity promotion or advertising purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media and formats used by us or our agencies, without further compensation, throughout the entire world in perpetuity.

12.

At any time MALTCO and/or ATG reserve the right to stop, suspend, amend or otherwise alter the Competition, and consequently these Terms and Conditions, as MALTCO and/or ATG may deem fit in their sole and absolute discretion, without notice and any liability in Participants' regard, but in accordance with applicable law.

13.

MALTCO and/or ATG reserve the right in their sole and absolute discretion, to change the format and manner in which the Competition is conducted, as well as the prizes on offer without notice or liability to Participants.

14.

The Competition may be cancelled at any time for any reason that MALTCO and/or ATG may deem fit in their sole and absolute discretion.

15.

MALTCO and/or ATG shall not entertain manifestly unfounded complaints or contestations made by the Participants.

16.

MALTCO and/or ATG are not liable for any damages suffered by the participant due to the non observance of these Terms and Conditions.

17.

Participants shall not be entitled to receive any prizes won by them if they are prohibited Participants.

18.

MALTCO and/or ATG shall not be liable for any delays in the delivery of prizes to winning Participants.

19.

MALTCO and/or ATG shall not be liable to any person for any direct or indirect loss suffered by any person arising from (a) the cancellation or delay of the Competition, (b) the participation or non-participation of any person in the Competition.

20.

In the event that these Terms and Conditions do not, or do not clearly, cater for a solution to any matter which may arise, then MALTCO and /or ATG shall have the sole and absolute discretion to decide finally on such matter.

21.

These Terms and Conditions are subject to change.

Participation in the Competition shall be deemed to be an unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
