The rules below are a summary of a selection of rules which can be found in the U*BET Horse Racing Players’ Booklet. The complete list of rules and regulations is available in the Booklet which may be found in any MALTCO LOTTERIES Limited Point of Sale or from the Head Office of the company during office hours or from this website by clicking here.
Participation by persons under the age of 16 and other prohibited ticket holders is not allowed.
MALTCO LOTTERIES will announce the time up to which time betting is accepted and cancelled.
Stakes participate in the foreign betting pools at a rate established by the foreign operator of the betting pool. Prizes will be paid out at prevailing rates of exchange.
Winnings may be claimed within 30 days from the draw date of the ticket. If the last day falls on a weekend or public holiday, the deadline is extended to the next working day.
If races or race meetings are moved to another race course or postponed by up to 72 hours from their scheduled time, these will still retain their validity.
Only horses on which bets have been played are considered when determining the winning bets.
Participation in U*BET Horse Racing Betting is subject to the condition that the player accepts fully and unconditionally the relevant provisions of the Law, including the Lotteries and Other Games Act 2001, the General Rules for the operation of U*BET Horse Racing Betting and the Special regulations for each bet type as stipulated in the U*BET Horse Racing Players’ Booklet, as well as the special rules and conditions that may appear on the U*BET Horse Racing Programmes or on other communication channels. By submitting the coupon or verbally placing the bet at the Point of Sale, the player accepts the above conditions as binding.
